The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and keeps no database of visitor data. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form — and that arrives as an email, nothing more. The rest of this page spells that out properly.
Who we are
P3MAI is the professional practice of Douglas Colvin, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, providing programme, project and PMO management services. For anything in this policy, contact drcolvin@p3mai.com. P3MAI is the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect, and why
The contact form. When you submit the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, and your message (including any pre-filled context, such as the service you clicked through from or a cost-estimator summary you chose to include). This is sent directly to our mailbox at drcolvin@p3mai.com. It is not stored in any database on this website. We use it to respond to your enquiry and for any correspondence that follows. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate, and, where relevant, taking steps prior to entering a contract with you.
Hosting logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (based in the United Kingdom) and its content delivery network keep standard server access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and operational purposes. These are routine infrastructure records; we do not use them to profile or identify visitors.
That is the complete list. We do not buy, sell, rent or share personal data with anyone for marketing.
Cookies
We set none — no first-party cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no local storage. That is why you do not see a cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to consent to.
Third-party content embedded in our pages may involve its own processing, described next.
Third-party content
Google Fonts. Our pages load the Poppins typeface from Google's font servers. When your browser requests the font files, Google receives your IP address and standard request data. Google's privacy policy applies to that processing.
Google Maps. The Contact page embeds a Google map of our location. Loading that page causes your browser to connect to Google, which may process your IP address and set its own cookies within the map frame. Google's privacy policy applies. No other page embeds third-party frames.
Our demonstration applications
The tools linked from this site at apps.p3mai.com (the PMO example, the method maps, and the P3M3 assessment) are open reference applications. They require no account, collect no personal data, and their demonstration data resets automatically. Please do not enter personal or confidential information into them — they are showcases, not systems of record.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and as a reasonable business record afterwards. If you would like your correspondence deleted, ask and we will do it.
International transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates. If you contact us from the UK, the EU, or elsewhere, your enquiry will be read and handled in the UAE. We limit what we hold to what you send us, keep it in access-controlled mailboxes, and honour the rights described below regardless of where you are.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the UK and EU GDPR and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email drcolvin@p3mai.com — we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add analytics or an email newsletter — we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
